This Porch Coat was constructed from a vintage quilt in the most wonderful colors & fabric remnants. If I was a painter, I imagine this would be the coat I’d paint in- it just has that creative feel to it. The original backing of the built is the lining of the coat- the sweetest, faded floral. We accented it with teal from a vintage blanket. Weight is interesting- it’s think but quite “sturdy” & made for an excellent “coat” feel.
Original quilt is lovely but shows some wear as pictured.
