Details:
This particular Porch Coat has been constructed from a vintage wool camp blanket in classic stripes. It’s light/medium weight (so great for layering & warmth). The original wool certainly shares some signs of wear but is in great usable vintage condition to be rocking for years to come. Slight pilling & some minor discoloring/stains. We’ve trimmed it with olive wool from a surplus Army blanket for a pop of contrast.
As with all vintage textiles, please expect to find signs of wear & miscellaneous flaws. It’s a part of its story. They’re marks of love & use & comfort.
