Details:
This particular Quilt Coat has been constructed from a vintage, hand-stitched “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” quilt. It’s light/medium weight so ideal for easy wear & layering! Any thinning fabrics or wear, we mended! Took our sweet time doing so to ensure she’ll shine for ya for years to come.
We’ve trimmed it with olive wool from a surplus Army blanket for a pop of contrast.
As with all vintage Quilt Coats, please expect to find signs of wear & miscellaneous flaws. It’s a part of the history & what set it apart from garments mass produced over seas. They’re marks of love & use & comfort.
