We’ve taken on the task of repurposing these precious heirlooms into wearable & cozy art so that the delicate beauty of these one-of-a-kind quilts can continue to be treasured & highlighted.

Details:
This particular Quilt Coat has been constructed from a vintage, hand-stitched Lone Star quilt. It was in beautiful shape with the exception of the pink fabrics so each one was mended… it took hours to shore her up before the coat construction even started. But it was worth it to save this beaut!!
It’s light/medium weight.
We’ve trimmed it with olive wool from a surplus Army blanket for a pop of contrast.
As with all vintage Quilt Coats, please expect to find signs of wear & miscellaneous flaws. It’s a part of the history & what set it apart from garments mass produced over seas. They’re marks of love & use & comfort.
